Faced with mounting competitive pressure, our customer needed to modernize their aging and costly custom software and infrastructure, which provided high-speed, low-latency financial data to their customers. Embracing cloud technology was the obvious solution to cutting infrastructure costs, but the cloud’s ability to provide low-latency data feeds remained uncertain.

SCOPE OF WORK

Asperitas was entrusted with a critical mission: to create a cutting-edge cloud environment capable of cost-effectively hosting their custom software while supporting the extremely high transaction throughput essential to their business.

RESULT

Asperitas Consulting delivered an exceptional proof of concept using AWS and containerization to run several of the customer's high-throughput applications in a new cloud environment. The results were outstanding, far exceeding expectations. Our comprehensive audit of their custom software identified the necessary changes to make it cloud-native and seamlessly hostable in the cloud.

Impressed by the proof of concept's success, the customer has now adopted it for real production workloads, establishing it as a repeatable pattern across their entire organization.
